The unsocial philosopher

A typical problem-that of the philosopher not being a success on the social front- is also mine. Of course you define a philosopher in a broad manner-just a fellow given to find reasons everywhere , read patterns and make postulations which tend to mark him out from others who merely talk about events without tracing the underlying connections. I believe the philosopher cannot do much as a philosopher without social skills and perhaps there cannot be such a sharp schism between philosophy and being a social creature.
